It means an opportunity to ‘learn your craft’ over a three-year apprenticeship as a professional roofer and builder. In the process, you will work alongside time-served staff with more than 30 years’ experience of catering to the most demanding requirements of homeowners across Newcastle, Sunderland, Northumberland, Durham, Middlesbrough and wider Northern England.
It also means being paid more than the national average apprenticeship wage, with the expectation of being employed by us at the end of your apprenticeship. Yes, that’s right: our last six apprentices were all offered jobs once their placement concluded. With the average starting salary for a roofer at Vantage Roofing & Building being £22,677 a year, that’s quite an incentive.
