At Vantage’s, we are proud of our decades of history, which goes back much further than when our current Managing Director, Our Former Director, joined the company in 2008. We have long-established roots in North East England, and our head office remains there to this day.

Still, you could too easily underestimate the reach of Vantage Roofing & Building, which is now the North of England’s largest domestic roofing and building firm. Let’s shed some light on exactly where we can provide our services – it’s safe to say that you could be pleasantly surprised…

Our company has gone from strength to strength

If you are considering utilising any of our services, it might be because someone you know has recently benefitted from our specialist expertise and so decided to recommend us to you. Indeed, our annual turnover has recently surpassed £7.7 million.

This translates into, every single year, more than 2,200 customers tapping into our knowhow. That’s customers opting for new roofs, pointing, rendering or other home improvement projects – and all of these are available more widely than you may have thought.

Our presence remains resilient in the North East

As we have grown, we have been able to invest more money into infrastructure aimed at accommodating the increasing demand for our work. This has been much to the benefit of our home region, as you can receive extensive and intrinsic work as well as roof repairs in the North East.

Naturally, Hartlepool falls within our extensive coverage area; in an interview with the Hartlepool Mail, Our Former Director called the County Durham coastal town “an untapped market for a roofing and building company of our stature and experience.” He added: “We also have Darlington and other coastal areas in our sights for development, so it makes sense to move.”

Our Former Director was speaking in late 2017, after our headquarters had been relocated from Washington to Blackhall – but rest assured that we still have a base in Washington. From there, we can cater for local places including Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Chester-le-Street and South Tyneside – the area covered by the Shields Gazette, which reported on our Kool 4 Skool scheme last year.

You can easily find us in Yorkshire and Scotland, too

There’s no area of the North East outside our coverage area; we can journey right up to Berwick-upon-Tweed, as south as Guisborough and even to Carlisle, just outside the region. That’s far from the only place where our roofers and builders operate outside the North East, however.

In the above-mentioned interview, Our Former Director explained: “We are excited about utilising our new home’s transport connections which include the A19, enabling more efficient travel to Yorkshire, where we opened a branch in the spa town of Harrogate.”

From there, we can serve any Yorkshire area – including Leeds, Selby and Wetherby, each home to its own Vantage’s office. We are in Scotland, now, too; our Edinburgh number is 0131 370 0904, while Yorkshire customers can reach our Harrogate office on 01423 275 100.
